the IT city, the I.T. Baby

Sort of back

Had major surgery, survived, prognosis good. Came back into a world of having a ten-ager who’s goal I guess it is is to draw back any attention I might have had during my chemo and surgery and recovery and turn it negatively toward her.

So, dealing with nonstop fights, a kid deliberately self-sabotaging in school, being an extremely angsty depressed bucket of unnecessary drama brought on only to pick a fight. For nothing.

This of course ends up spilling over and one parent gets to be the jailer while the other heads out to whatever event we were going to go out to as a family… womp womp.

During the past four months I really haven’t seen much of anything interesting in kid tech. I’m not sure if that’s because I basically just slept through a quarter of a year or what but yeah, nothing exciting. Just the same old junk with new packaging.

Anyway, not dead… just not finding anything particularly great and have to spend most of my energy fighting the 10yo bringer of despair.
