A quick fun mask idea that takes (some) effort but gets massive response
Took my ghouls to the Adventure Science Center yesterday for some spooky festivities… this mostly consisted of crafting halloweeen masks and hitting up a couple of people for candy. I’m sure there were more things to do but we all made masks at the mask craft station and, with the help of the entire family placing these, I made my most commented on and viscerally reactive mask ever.
I call it “the night”, because it has several eyes… not 1000, but smewhere in the neighborhood of 70 I would guess.

Reactions included “I viscerally hate that I hate that mask so much,” multiple comments about how awesome it was, someone dressed as a wizard continuially ducking my gaze, and some fascinated kids asking if it actually worked (do they make fake googly-eye masks somewhere?)
Anyway – any mask whatsoever, and slap Googly eyes on it. I cut my own mask out at the science center from a sheet of not exactly sure what – feels slightly foam like.
And as many googly eyes as you can get. Results are fascinating.

Amazon has them for $9.99 for 2000 so this is not an expensive endeavor.
Maybe next year I’ll get a hard full face mask and go to town…
