Drop it like’s it teeth

During the youngest’s whole teeth issue the oldest mentioned she lost a tooth while brushing her teeth and it went down the drain. I pulled the drain apart, saw nothing, she pointed to where it had come out, did not look particularly new. Thought it was an attempt to tag team with the smallest to screw the tooth fairy out of a coin and she didn’t mention it a single time again after mentioning it.

I’ll stress, I wasn’t being a jerk here nor really disbelieving her, I just forgot and she did too.

Two months later the tooth is found in a toy that was in a basket next to the sink.

Le sigh…. now I have to write letters for all these delivery and processing exceptions.
