So I’ve got a little one with a somewhat strange spelling of her first name. It’s Aerin, long story behind the spelling and name omitted, just accept that much like Aerin Lauder, Rupert Murdoch’s granddaughter, and a character in Lord of the Rings, she’s probably not going to find her name on a keychain at Stuckey’s.
Enter a random chance encounter of mine with a person in an Aerin Medical shirt, a brief email to their customer service (I asked if I could purchase any swag that had the name “Aerin” on it for my 6yo, was told they didn’t have anything that would work.) No biggie.
About 5 days later I got an envelope from them (they had my address due to yet another long story unrelated to this contact) and bam. Facemask and three “leather tacos” that say Aerin and are providing her toys with a lunch. Not really sure what the leather tacos are, they’ve got a snap… eh, they’re tacos for now.
Just thought that I’d mention in a world where almost every customer service interaction I have is the beginning of an epic nightmare, this was quite unexpected.
