Quarantine after quarantine at school in TN, no remote learning

Remote was taken off the table because a governor decided to bow to business interests. Those interests being forcing people back into a working environment for low wages because they’re using the schools as daycares. Hasn’t worked out so well, and at this point I know of six quarantines going on at my kids’ school.

Lerd.

Friend’s kid just got on a 10 day quarantine because yet another parent sent a symptomatic child into school, and yup, it was Covid. Everyone within a few feet of the known infected kid gets either a 10 day timeout or 7ish days if they get a PCR test at some point.

Schools in Wilson county are now on 10 day break in an effort to control the outbreak.

Another fun school year marred by State-level governor idiocy.
