Masking for school / kids
Why is there confusion? Kids aren’t vaccinated and are susceptible to the virus. In MNPS, they have to wear a mask. All the parents I’ve seen seem to get that if they’re expecting their kids to wear a mask they wear a mask as well.
I’m fully vaccinated, possibly doubly so (pending conclusive results of another study,) there are no mask mandates any more in my town. I’ve got kids. I mask up. It’s called modeling behavior. I don’t want my kiddos sick. I know I can’t get sick. Guess what, I’m going to model the behavior that’s been shown in studies to reduce their risk.
Why doesn’t daddy have to wear a mask?
Well kid’s, let’s sit you down and tell you about mRNA techno… no, daddy’s going to be wearing a mask so you’re not feeling like we’re forcing this on just you screw that noise.
Don’t want to wear it? Take it off when the kids aren’t around. Taking them out in public and you’re fully vaccinated? Wear the mask. It’s really very simple, be the model you want them to be.
