Amazon’s Prime Book Box delivers children’s adventures

Prime Book Box by Amazon is an upcoming invitation-only service that ships you a box that contains either two hardcover, or four board books for various age groups (baby-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12) on a monthly, bi-monthly, or tri-monthly schedule.
The books are 35% off of list price, most likely because Amazon is purchasing a metric butt ton of them.
The current price is $22.99 per box, or about $22.99 more than your local library.
Amazon’s currently offering this by invitation only. You can request an invitation at the link below or you can theoretically get invited by a Prime Book Box member. This seems a bit off to me as this doesn’t seem to be a service that’s actually going to require or benefit from an invitation only system.
Basically I think that invitation is just to get you interested.
Right now you can sign up and wait for an invite in your email and that’s about it. So I’d advise you to take this moment to go to your local library and renew your card.
That said, if you’re interested in getting on the list go ahead and click below. Maybe there’ll be something other than a decent slight discount upcoming. Maybe not.
Hopefully their Prime Book Box service will have straightforward billing unlike trying to find where their Fire Kids Tablet recurring charges are. That subscription service still accounts for roughly 30% of our traffic trying to figure out what Amazon Digital SVC $3.something charge is.
