Four days with the Safety 1st Grow and Go 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat

Safety 1st Grow and Go 3-in-1 Convertible Car SeatI thought I’d update. This is probably day five, but four complete days since the Safety 1st Grow and Go 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat has been in use. Here’s what we have so far.

The bad

  1. Rattling from handles reported to Safety 1st customer service Jul 14, 12:36 PM EDT. It’s now July 18th 6:36 PM EDT and no response from them. We’ve kept the box in case we return it. I’ve fixed the handles by putting socks behind them, but I shouldn’t have to do this.
  2. Checked a different Safety 1st model at Costco today, handles are just as loose and seem like they would rattle in a car.

The good

Baby loves the seat, fits her perfectly.

Baby exploded due to a swim diaper. I was able to remove all the seat fabric and get it to the washing machine without removing the seat from the car. Nothing made it through the fabric. Unsure if this is because it’s waterproof or we just caught it fast enough.

I was able to re-attach all the fabric in under three minutes and get the seat back in operation.

Have yet to pinch baby’s legs due to buckle guard.

Safety 1st Grow and Go 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat Overall

Very annoyed customer service hasn’t responded even with an “sorry we’re busy, we’ll be with you shortly” message. I did get their “we received your message” message but that’s been it.

Seat seems to be great other than the adjustment handles rattle.

You can grab it over on Amazon should you want
