iClever BoostCare Kids Headphones review
The iClever BoostCare Kids Headphones come in three flavors (bat, cat, reindeer.) They are designed to look cute while actively limiting the maximum volume to protect your child’s hearing.
The headphones adjust to fit from about a three-year old’s head to most adult sized heads. They almost fit on me, however I wear a size XL/XXL in most hat-based things so I am not disparaging them.
The volume is limited at about 85dB, which I couldn’t test very well as they did not fit my ears. Unfortunately Maggie isn’t particularly good at identifying how loud something is yet.
The iClever BoostCare Kids Headphones feature a ribbon cable which can help prevent tangles. Your three year old is going to tangle it though. Be aware – with wired headphones there’s no way a kid isn’t going to find some way to tangle them.
The headphones are designed pretty well to prevent your kid’s fingers from getting snagged in them. I see no way that anyone could hurt themselves adjusting these. That said the absolute first thing Maggie did was somehow pinch her finger.

Not bad mind you, but man, I kept playing with those for a while to see how she did it and only with actually trying to do it could I.
Upon showing the cat ear iClever BoostCare headphones to Maggie she immediately identified them as pig ears. There was no hesitation, these were piggie ears and she would hear nothing of them being kitty ears. I couldn’t really argue as her logic was sound “they look like pig ears. they are pig ears.”
The bat ears look like dragon wings, and the reindeer looks a little like flames rising up.
Eh, whatever. They sound pretty decent, limit the volume so your kid doesn’t lose hearing when they crank their YouTube Kids video to 11, and are reasonable priced.
