Power your memories with the EasyAcc 10000mAh Power Bank

EasyAcc 10000mAh Power BankThe EasyAcc 10000mAh Power Bank  is a lightweight portable 2.4amp power bank capable of recharging the average phone with a 2000mAh battery from dead to full about 4 & 1/2 times.

This is great if you want to be out and capturing memories with your family and not have to be worried that you’ll have to choose between taking a video and being able to receive or make a call due to low battery. It really is lightweight enough to fit in a pocket and forget about it… mostly. Sitting down will require it moved.

If you’re packing babies and toddlers, you’ve already got enough weight on you with diapers, wipes, change of clothing, juice, formula, etc. The EasyAcc comes in at under 8oz so it shouldn’t break your back toting it around.

It’s also lightweight, thin, and can charge a tablet at full 2.4amp speed so if you need to juice up the kid’s iPad for a long drive back from your excursion, you can do that fairly quickly.

Where the EasyAcc 10000mAh Power Bank fails in some respects is that it lacks Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 capabilities, so Motorola/HTC devices cannot benefit from the increased speeds of charging. It also is limited to 2.4amps total output across both USB outputs, so if you’ve got two devices they’ll charge at 1.2amps or thereabouts.

It should be noted that calling that a fail is perhaps harsh, as the average person isn’t on a QQC2.0 phone, nor needing to charge two 2.4amp devices at the same time. So it’s more like a “this would be nice to make it the perfect charger”.

The Power Bank can be recharged at 2.0 amps, and assuming 80% conversion you can  assume it will take about 6.25 hours to recharge with a two amp charger, or about 12 with a one amp.

The case is pretty sturdy feeling, but it doesn’t feel shatterproof. I’m not going to let my toddler go at it to prove me wrong, but it doesn’t have that tank of a feel, most likely because you’ve got the options of either lightweight and sleek or total tank power bank, which would be an excellent name for a product.

The price point for 10,000mAh on this comes in at $17.29 on Amazon at the moment, and they’re rocking a 4.6 star rating after 3916 reviews and no dirty tricks that I can find (such as joining a “reviewer program” which gives you free stuff if you post a review and tell them about it).

Overall it’s the biggest bang for the buck in the smallest product I’ve seen to date. Oh yeah, it’s also got a little LED flashlight built in, but it’s fairly weak.

You can grab the EasyAcc 10000mAh Power Bank from the manufacturer’s website or Amazon for $17.29. You should be aware both options lead to the same place and there are multiple options on the Amazon page, so make sure you’re not selecting the older and larger version. It doesn’t appear they’re trying to fool you, just it’s a bit confusing as there are multiple generations and color options.
