Back to the night diapers

up&up size 5Someone’s growing, and with great size comes great amounts of waste. We’d quit using night diapers a while back as at size four they didn’t really seem to be that much different than the Costco sized fours, and at size five where Maggie is now the normal diapers appear to be able to hold tons of liquid, but they’re not holding the night.

So we’re back to night diapers.

Today was the first morning that Maggie woke up and the jammies were reusable in a while. She also wasn’t in any particular hurry to get out of the crib this morning, which lead to us having a leisurely baby breakfast before heading out.

While there was one wake up last night about 4am, this seems to have been more related to us moving the contents of one pocket of a storage pouch elsewhere as we found she was getting into it and hiding pacifiers around the house because she knows we won’t let her have them while she’s awake.

Ah well.

Will see how the night diapers work this go-around. They worked really well when Maggie was size two or three. It may just be a thing where like name brands diapers in certain sizes and runs are made to annoy you above all else.
