Baby in the office meets office thief

squeezy beefSo one of the things with me and work is I bring Maggie in one day a week, and during this time she’s the office baby.

Being a reasonably well behaved infant and me being able to do most of my work remotely it means I can come in, move wires, place computers, and then most of what I do can be done at odd times.

Everyone in the building loves a baby for a short amount of time, and I try and limit her to being here during good moods, and exit stage left when the angry baby comes.

I have a few things stashed here including emergency wipes, extra baby food, and a small amount of formula. There’s also enough stuff to reasonably take care of a rug rodent for a few hours in case I managed to get stuck here during psycho rain, terrorist attack, etc.

There’s also always a packet or two of her favorite squeezy beef and tomato food here, which I went for today after she plowed through all the food I brought for her in one psychotic feeding frenzy reminiscent of a shark. Unfortunately sometime in the last two or three days someone else went for it.

So yeah, someone was hungry and thought that looked good and walked off with it…

Only reason I put it in the fridge was because it was convenient if I needed to get to a spare pack of food when I was feeding her as I generally feed her in the break area. She also like cold ass food for some reason.

Ah well, lesson learned, keep shelf-stable baby squeeze food in the office.
