Interested in homemade baby food? In Nashville? Check out Purée+Simple

Our friend at Chubby Bunny is throwing a class called Purée+Simple on the art of making, preparation, and potentially storage of healthy homemade baby food coming up Monday, March 24th 2014 in Nashville, TN.
If you’re interested in learning how to do what Jemina does in a commercial kitchen in the comfort of your own home, and potentially save some serious dollars on healthy baby foods, plan to drop in from 6-8pm at
Mesa Komal at Casa Azafran
2195 Nolensville Pike
Nashville, TN 37211
At 10 plus months, Maggie has probably had a few meals a week from Jemina’s kitchen since she started semi-solids, and other than when she’s been sickly I don’t think any have gone to waste.
Not being a baby, I can’t comment on how it appeals to the undeveloped palate, but as an adult I’d probably eat anything that we’ve so far tried.
You can find details on the upcoming class on The Skillery’s website, which I would advise checking as I’m probably not going to update this post unless someone emails me that the class has been moved or cancelled.
Classes are $30, which you can potentially recoup in one to two preparations of homemade baby food.
Go out, learn the art of delicious organic baby food preparation, impress your friends, impress your babies, be better than the soccer moms shopping at Whole Paycheck. Ok, I’m being a bit silly, but it’s a skill set you should probably possess if you’re in charge of a free range organic baby, more so if you want to save a bunch while providing your baby with the building blocks needed to produce a healthy happy rug crawler.
And if baby doesn’t like it, trust me, it’s delicious. You can use what you make elsewhere.
