Snoopy Sno-Cone machines recalled due to mouth injury risk

Snoopy Sno-Cone MachineThe Consumer Products Safety Commission has details on a recall of a product I had as a kid and evidently it’s still being made – the Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine.

A brass rivet can fall out of the ice shaving area and into the shaved ice posing a risk if you or your child bites down on it.

This recall is for Cra-Z-Art Snoopy Sno-Cone Machines with batch numbers BCH003005A28-0812, BCHTRU001A17-0812 or BCHTRU004A16-0712 printed on back. The units were sold from Sept 2012 through July 2013 from Barns & Nobel, Amazon, and Toys R Us.

There have been 64 reports of fall outs so far with no injuries.

You can find the entire detailed report here on the CSPC recall page.
