IKEA Junior Beds recalled due to laceration hazard

KRITTER from Ikea

KRITTER and SNIGLAR Junior Beds sold by Ikea have been recalled due to laceration hazards. Evidently the issue is a metal rod breaking at the attachment point to the bedside rail.

Only KRITTER junior beds with date stamp (YYWW) from 1114 to 1322 and SNIGLAR junior beds with date stamp from 1114 to 1318 are affected. The date stamp appears on a label attached to either the headboard or the underside of the bed. Model number for KRITTER is 600.904.70 and for SNIGLAR 500.871.66, supplier number for KRITTER is 15361 and for SNIGLAR 19740 or 18157, are printed on the same label.

If you have one of the affected junior beds please contact customer service at (888) 966-4532 to receive a repair kit free of charge. The repair kit contains a replacement metal rod, tools and instruction sheet.
